The weekend of July 8 - 10, 2011 at Watkins Glen proved to be a perfect performance by Matthew Inge, who not only won both races, but also set the track record.
After being away from Formula Enterprise for almost three months,
Matthew Inge climbed in his No.20 FE car to clinch the pole for both races within his first two sessions. "The car was absolutely incredible. Anywhere I wanted to put the car,
it was going to take me there," Inge stated. Coming out with two wins, he inherently smashed the existing track record by eight tenths of a second
with a time of 1:54.1.
The next race he will attend is the coveted
SCCA Runoffs which take place September 19-23 in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
